This Friday Bitter bitter weeks will be playing a short set (including one very top secret cover of one legendary Philly punk band) at the World Café Live. It’s WXPN’s Wrap Up Party in celebration of the 885 Countdown of the Most Memorable Musical Moments, and it’s also the 3rd anniversary of their new home at 3025 Walnut Street, here in Philadelphia and it’s also a costume party!
This show is going to be taped for later broadcast, so you can say you were there, right?!!!
The night is free! Doors are at 6pm, and the music starts at 7pm.

Dec. 8 will be a very special night for those of you in Philadelphia. Cynthia G. Mason and Sonic Liberation Front will each celebrate the release of new music on the same night. Cynthia plays a special early show at the Ethical Society Building while SLF plays the night cap at Tritone.
After five years, Cynthia is back with her best album. Helping to celebrate with her, us, and you will be three super-talented individuals: Larry D. Brown, Amy Pickard, and Joshua Marcus. Sonic Liberation Front celebrates the release of its third album, Change Over Time, at Tritone on Dec. 8. Opening for SLF is Breakfast a new band featuring musicians from three of High Two’s favorite Philly bands: Bryan Rogers – saxophone (Shot x Shot), Amnon Freidlin – guitar (Normal Love), Pete Angevine – drums (Illumina). The show is late.
